Northern Ohio Ducati Employee Bios

Carl Peshoff

Owner

Carl has been a car and motorcycle enthusiast from an early age. He grew up around cars, and began racing as soon as he was old enough. Racing automobiles naturally led to a love of all things mechanical. Motorcyles became another way to satisfy his love of speed. Carl bought his first Ducati in 2006, started selling Ducati’s shortly after, and became the owner of Northern Ohio Ducati in 2010. His ride of choice is a 2007 Ducati 1098S.

Stan Lipert

Technician

Stan began tearing up the old farmstead on minibikes and go karts as a kid in the 70's, and moved on to the street in the 80's with cafe racers and sport bikes, including thirteen years as a full-time rider in his home digs of New Jersey. Mechanical, welding and fabrication skills learned from building custom cafe racers led to a long standing avocation as a race bike builder/tuner. Stan began road racing motorcycles himself in the 90's, earning four WERA National Championships to his credit, winning races from New Hampshire to Georgia. Never one to shy away from a mechanical challenge, Stan has mastered European and Japanese performance bikes-vintage and new alike, from smoothbore carbs to the latest fuel injection systems, from machining custom pistons and valve train components to welding up his own race frames, he's done it all. Stan served time as a machinist, CAD modeler, production manager and welder. This tech-head is happiest when he's perfecting the art and science of motorcycle mechanics.

Stan splits his riding time between a 1995 Triumph Thunderbird, a 1967 Ducati 250 MK3, a Honda RSC350, a Yamaha TZ250 + RD400, and a Suzuki GS1100SZ.
